    Honda F-12X V F-15X Which one?

I'm looking to buy my first PWC and have always thought well of Honda products.

I'm a big guy and want to ride in the open ocean and rivers.

I want to tow donuts / rings etc in the river and possibly knee boards etc.

I'm not interested in speed, just reliability and a decent product.
I wanted to steer clear of Turbo's and Superchargers and opt for a normally aspirated engine.

    Unfortunately I can't find an F12 or F15 but have sourced F-12X and F-15X's.

I have even sourced new and one's with only ONE hour on the clock (All from reputable dealers) all be it 2006 / 08 models.

But which one should I go for?????

I've heard good things of Yamaha but although Seadoo having cutting edge designs I'm still concerned re their reliability and expense to maintain.

Other than the Honda, any recommendations / thoughts / advice?

    Thanks,

    PS I'm located in Australia.

Duta Sports in Bali had the PWC but their web site was using pictures from a Queensland Honda PWC dealer!!!!

The F15x is the way to go, I own an R-12x and it takes a beating... I've got around 130 hours on it, and had to rebuild the pump, it was getting a little loud....

I just bought a 06 FXHO 127hrs (Yamaha) and absolutley love it! I wouldn't buy new, the FXHO's have a great GPH rate, even the new N/A 1.8L FXHO

All the ski's run well, but both don't have alot of power adding options...

Go the 15x it is a much more stable and larger ski than the 12x, also it has beeter low end engine performance for pulling skiers. Where abouts in Australia are you and who have you spoken with here in Aussie land.

The FXHO would be a good option for you. You can probably get one cheaper than what they are asking for the F-15x. I have an 09 w/ 100 hrs. Runs great. Mix of ocean and river riding. Honda is a good ski, just makes me nervous that they are no longer in production. My 2 cents.

    I'm in Perth.

Wasn't sure if to go for a F-15 but at the moment the cheaper option is the F-15X.

Nice! I have an '08 F15X as well... absolutely love it. Mostly ocean riding, and it handles like a champ~
