RPMs drop when riding, fuel pressure drops too. Next troubleshooting step?

Was trying to figure out why Rpms kept dropping so I installed fuel psi gauge. Riding w seat off, I see gauge reads 62psi idling and when I achieve 69mph. Then as I ride and notice the speedometer/Rpms drop, I notice the fuel psi drops to 35psi. what do I assume from this?

edit// also, if i need to replace the pump, where's a good place to get it? should i get another seadoo original part, or is there a nicer aftermarket pump that works better? there's a small chance i'd upgrade for more performance, but mostly unlikely.

Check the screen on the bottom of the pump. It may be that your pump is ok but at sustained higher RPMs the pump is being starved for fuel due to a blocked or dirty screen. You should get it checked asap before you continue running and possibly leaning the engine.

I think the same, filter or foreign material in the tank getting sucked up at higher pressure from the pump ? check injectors also, unlikely but ya never know.. leaning out is like sliding down a slippery slide razor blade using your balls as the brake !

My XP DI had a a similiar problem. It would run fine for about 10-15 minutes and then run like crap. I put a gauge on it and rode it and after ten minutes the pressure would start to drop and it would start running bad. Replaced the fuel pump and all was good.

it drops down to about 35psi and will hold there until i let go of the gas, and then it climbs back up to 60.

it's a 07 gtx ltd with 80 hours. I just wanted to make sure we're making a smart move by removing the tank and looking into that.

You don't have to remove the whole tank to get the fuel pump unit out..
Not as big of a job as you might think. Maybe harder on the smaller RXP, but on the couches
it is fairly straightforward. IF you do need a new pump, I'd go Walbro (think is gs342) and Airtex
makes the outer screen filter and the inner screen filter (attached to pump itself).
The filters are cheap at auto parts stores, so if outer looks pretty bad, maybe just replace it first
    and see what happens
I don't remember part #'s, but if you do a search I listed them a while back
