    Indonesian online jetski scam .............

    Hi Guys,

Just got back from a week in Bali. While there I did a bit of sniffing around at jetski prices and I found this place http://www.baliatv.com . The prices were way too cheap to be true, like AUD $1900 for a 2011 Superjet !!!

I sent an email to the sales team, asking to meet them for a coffee or go for a walk through their warehouse but after a few days I had no response.

Anyway I hired a taxi and went for a drive up the hill to go and look at the warehouse and after an hour it was clear that something wasnt right. The taxi driver stopped and asked locals and other taxi drivers if they knew of the address or the warehouse and no one knew anything. It was also clear from the area we were in that you would never fit a fully loaded semi trailer with ski's ATV's and boats up there.

Dissapointed, I went back to my hotel and did a bit more research and found that the website is an elaborate hoax, with a few people kissing large amounts of cash goodbye.

Basically, if it seems too good to be true then there is a very good chance that it is !! Buyer beware .

Contact the Domain Host and inform them of your visit, and what you found. They will hopefully yank the site.
That doesn't prevent them from starting another though.

Also, you can call the numbers listed for the domain(they're different than the website), and see who picks up, and if they know they are running a scam.

Also, a Google internet search of baliatv.com will yield a few pages of others that have been scammed, or, have caught on.
