Slight, Slight knick on my Supercharger Impeller wheel

When I was cleaning my supercharger with my dremel buffing pad, the metal shaft of the dremel slightly grazed the edge of the impeller wheel. Which caused a tiny knick, nothing to severe. But I read on another forum this could throw off the balance due to it being dynamically tune. Is this true or is it ok?

If its just a slight nick you should be ok bro. Can you post a picture? If you are worried just send it to Jerry for inspection.

You really need to post a pic but its very likely that you would have to replace the wheel, in which case you might as well go aftermarket. The impellers are extremely sensitive to balance issues. I can't speak on specific rpm's on a gear driven s/c, but a turbo for example can spin at 100,000 revs. Even grams off or a damaged fin could cause catastrophic failure and lead to impeller fragments all over your internals. Best of luck on it.
