Thread: better acceleration...

Guys hello, i am asking this question on behalf of a friend who just bought his 2007 RXT (same as mine). The only thing he wants to improve is acceleration (especially from zero mph). Not interested in having more top speed, so are there any suggestions keeping the cost in reasonable levels? And he would like to keep the opas system as well.
Thanks in advance
PS: keep in mind that modification of stock or after-market impeller is not possible (since here in Greece we dont have someone who could do this and sending the prop to Greenhulk would cost a lot).

external xs intercooler when i put mine in the acceleration was dramatic night and day also a solas prop it really helped mine out the hole those two should give you some nasty holeshot and acceleration it did on mine

Which solas pror did you use? Will we need a free flow exhaust? And finally if we install only the intercooler with stock prop are we going to have noticeable difference in acceleration?

If it's in your budget I would fit the RXP-X S/C and injectors, 4" air filter kit, X/S intercooler and a new impeller. When I did the above to my stock ski I could not believe both the extra amount of top speed and pick I gained. It's a lot to spend in one go but well worth the money.

if thats all you are after and want to keep the stock injectors and intercooler...
i went to a greenwheel in the supercharger and a 13/18 3 blade propeller.... not sure what is a greenwheel equivalent these days... but you should be able to get one cheap
very nice improvement on acceleration...
very happy with this setup and very reliable...
my ski was revving about 400rpm higher at 60/kmh but i had a slight gain in top speed even with the 3blade prop over stock.
i still have the same 2007 RXT i bought new... its just undergoing a few more changes at the moment

13/18 3 blade, riva intake grate & an X charger or riva S3 wheel or green wheel and you'll love it! Leave everything else alone because once you add anything else to gain acceleration or top speed the Money Ball starts rolling!

It wouldn't hurt but not a "must have" with the stock IC and stock air intake. maybe some 42's at the most.

Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator - with this you can add or take away gas.
