    UMI Steering set-up

    Hey Guy's, I am thinking about installing a UMI steering system on my 04 GPR, What are the Pro's/Con's on this if any?? What about the QSTS?? Is that an issue with bars?? What grips wood I use if changing on that side(qsts) Thanx!!!

    pm pale rider. i know he had a pretty detailed write up of his umi install on his gpr and i think he retained the QSTS

    everything should install just as it was on the old steering set-up, except for the steering sensor... you can just disconnect it from the steering and leave it plugged in

    lots of options for grips, just you will have to modify the left grip for the trim... most just stay with the factory grips, but there are dozens of threads on the board about changing grips
