    Yamaha and the bucking issue.

Does anyone know if any legal action has been taken against Yamaha over this issue?

When I was a new member...I asked the same question....a senior member with over 15,000 posts jumped in my stuff! Said we don't need any stinkin lawyers heah! I'm far from being a lawyer. I like my water toys!

I had the mods delete the thread...wish it was still here.....

I have new 2011 FZS sitting in the garage right now waiting for water temps to hit 50F (Lake Erie). Had an FZR last summer and never experience this bucking issue, but it has me a bit concerned as the last thing I want is to hit the water at 60+. I asked the dealership about it, and as expected they heard nothing of the issue. Since I rarely run WOT, I have decided not to make any modifications. Does anyone know if Yamaha has tried to duplicate the problem (analytically, or physical testing)? If it was a serious issue as it sounds, then I would think that Yamaha would be investigating at some level.

Also heard that Yami fixed the problem in 2011, but not from a reliable source.
