Just had Ross taper one for me! If not for that I would have picked one up. I hear a taper is better than a straight bore????? Would be interesting to see some back to back testing to see if any difference between taper and full bore.

Really nice piece mate. Good luck with the sales.

yes it is if only if you are talking about the same size butterfly because the air gains velocity as it gets funneled before the butterly like a velocity stack..then as it passes and the taper on the backside ..makes a vaccume..kinda sucking the air though as it tries to fill the extra space..as in nascar restrictor plate racing..but is no were near going to a big butterfly they run the big cabs anytime they are allowed..

going from 52 mm to 60 is huge ..i had a tapered one before yes better ..maybe...went to the 60 mm and had to add fuel across the board .it let in so much more air...

realize i have nothing to do with these..just stating my results..thisis a pic of mine you can see the oudide edge are the same because the one is tapered but see the difference in the butterfly..and this is a 60 not 61

oh Broen, good dam your insight. I'd say no way as I just purchased one. I've got a couple of throthies under my belt tonight so is clouding my better judgement.
