    Jet Pump Service?

I have a '04 RXP with 150hrs+/-. I was wondering what is required for the jet pump service? I am assuming that it works similar to a Lower Unit on a Outboard that might have oil to be changed?

    Thanks for any input.

Are you wanting to change the bearings or what? If you are wanting to just do a service, then all you need to do is pull the cone off by removing the three hex bolts. Rock it back and forth or tap it gently with a rubber mallet to get it off. If there is water in there, then you need to get new o-rings and grease. Wipe the grease out and get new. Install the full tube in the cone and re install. On the new o-rings, vigorously apply new grease so the pump cone doesn't catch either of them on the way back in and pinch which will cause a leak. Make sense?
