Added Some Mods to the VXS Today
I chose to use the R&D power filter instead of the cold air intake because I want to keep all the storage I can. The OEM air box and hose comes out. Pulling the cover off of the OEM air box makes it easier to get out of the hull in two pieces.
Then install the R&D filter is a simple clamp on job. I capped off the crankcase vent on the filter. Then it is possible to rotate the filter to allow easy access to the oil dip stick.
I added the crankcase oil breather left over from my FZ build. I didn't get to run any numbers yet. The boat launch is full of logs and debris from 13 inches of rain run off...bummer...
