Oil Pressure sender location (guage)
Ok guys been searching but no stright forward answer, Where would an oil pressure sendor mount to give the most accurate reading? thanks in advance

In the head under the water outlet its 1/8 NPT with a plug from the factory.

back of the head just above the headgasket below big coolant hose

Thats a good location on 06+ engines but will give bad readings on a 04-05 engine due to the restrictor.

Are you guys mounting the sensor directly to the head or remote mounting it?
Also the sender the came with my autometer gauge is quite big and the oil filter can prevents it from going in straight, I'm hoping I can get it mounted in there with a 45 degree fitting. Any one else had to do this?

Is that fitting you are talking about not a 10 mm pipe plug

It's a 1/8 NPT plug in the head.
