Short video, but nice to see in action. The rider looked as though not too sure about riding PWC. I was trying to watch the surface tension while cruising. You really can't tell.. with that video. Looked like it could use a shimm in the pump. But? Here is the direct link, http://kawasaki.com/Products/Detail....content=photoshave to scroll down, also check out the flush fitting on the bottom of the page.

Even in the final frames... I don't think the ski was hitting 65mph.

That rider does have a bizarre riding technique (as in sucks), it'll be nice to get at least another foot or two out of the water.

looks HEAVY , plows the water , one of my hardcore kawasaki buddys is going to get one....i got my gps ready ,and my wake board. ill bet it pulls like a tractor out of the hole....but it is just too heavy imo. Time will tell..kawasaki usually builds fast ski's , i hope this is still the case.

Let's hope the ski is better than that video. Worthless.

The test will be when they hit the water. Its 903 lbs dry--113 lbs heavier than a RXP---length 132.7 inches---one foot longer than a RXP---has a smaller pump than a RXP---however has a larger engine ( CC wise ). What interesting is they both have 3.6 pound per horsepower. Thats by dividing advertised weight by advertised hp. But as I said--the true test will be when they hit the water. Cant wait till the first ones hit my lake. Smoke city.

Here's what one guys said about the 250 vs the RXP at the dream demo.
Another little fact that TJ may have not been aware of was that the "stock" RXP he was running with at Dream Demo was running a full 3 MPH faster on the radar than the stock RXP from last year. Must be that SD has put a bigger engine in the boats for this year and hasn't told anyone. I am sure when you go to the dealer an plunk down your coin for an RXP, it will run 69 right out of the crate. You can count on it.
Oh and when the SD got to full speed the K was about 150 yards in front of it with half a tank of gas, not the 5 gallon minimum.
But SD wouldn't pre tune their boats or tweek the boost would they?
As mentioned earlier the K boats were fresh from their dealer meeting where every dealer and his parts manager did their best to thrash them to death. Who knows what a fresh 250 with careful prep and only 5 gal. of gas will do.
TJ, you struck me as the kind of guy who would recognize a used car pitch when you saw one."Quote

in cars when you double the weight you need to tripple the h.p. to stay even, so with that in mind the k should be 1/3 slower than the doo..but we will see....................i damm sure guarantee you that the first ultra 250 that hits my lake is going to get all the races he/she can stand...lol..cause we all cant wait for the New Meat.
