GPR Clunking ON Deceleration
Hi everyone, I'm new to Yamaha Waverunners and purchased a 2002 GP800R a few months back and rebuilt the topend before I ever used it. At one point in time the Exhaust Power Valve rubbed the piston and was removed. I replaced both pistons and missing exhaust valve and installed Waveaters.
When the Waverunner is out of water I'm getting a clunking/knocking noise when the machine is revved up and then let back down to idle again. It is fairly loud and then goes away when the machine is left alone idling.
Is this noise normal for these machines?
Lower rod bearings seem fine with no play and I couldn't feel any play in the end bearings.
