RXP-X Swapping to 83mm Venturi.. 2 inch long "straws" in venturi? What to do?

    Hey Everyone.. Been a while.

The title says it all. I assume I need these (for the "bailer" system I believe), but how to I get them out? The freezer trick again?

Hey Also.. it seems that the freezer trick isn't going to work as well with the new style "grey" wear ring. Any tricks?

    Thanks in advance,

    -=Mike G.

You need to just buy new bailer tubes and install them.

Yeah... I was starting to figure that. Just figured I'd ask. Are those common parts at dealers?

Oh... and I got the wear ring done. A rubber mallet after freezing around the ring over and over again (took like 2 minutes to tap it in).

I doubt a dealer will have those. Last pair, I ordered on line.

Usually set the pump in the sun and the ring in the freezer. Go to lunch. Come back get a 4x4 and 2lb sledge hammer and you know the rest.

Yer I ordered my syphon tubes from Jerry. They are only a few bucks each. You won't get the old ones out. Don't forget the orings too

Thanks guys. Went and picked up the siphon tubes and o-rings from a local dealer (they have a REALLY good ex-Seadoo Mechanic that is now their service manager so he keeps parts in stock).

So.. do they just press in? Do I have to make sure the o-rings go a certian distance in or anything?
