Evey one know they make them out of pot steal and left over JB weld. just kidding. I am surprise because the latest tools coming out of China aren't that bad.

I broke 2 like that too, almost dropped everything on my foot.

I did the same thing. Bought the vice from HF just to do my prop. Tightened the prop tool and boom the vise broke, prop and all hit the ground.

I broke 2 craftsman vices the same way.

Go to home depot and get this one, has done me well but on number 2 now........ But life time warranty take it right back to the depot and get a new one. Says it right on the box

busted a buddy's vise trying to change prop. Now I use Duke's technique which does not required vise and work really well.
I will try and find the thread.
