My jetski already had a dplate!! which one is this?

I am so mad at myself right now. i took the exhaust completely apart today to install my Riva DPlate, to find that it already had one in it! It was pain to do too. Had I looked closely compared to a stock gpr I would have known without turning a wrench, but whatever. The guy I bought this from said that Yamaha replaced his catalytic converter with a new one. He had like a 1000 dollar bill for it too. They really screwed him.

My next question is, what dplate is this? See pics compared to the Riva. It doesn't quite line up the same and the opening is slightly smaller. I am trying to figure out which one to put in or if it would even make a difference.

Edit: the holes probably don't line up the same because one is flipped over. I just now noticed that the holes are not even on each side so there is a top and bottom.

Also, How can I check if there is a resistor or chip or anything with this. That is unless Yamaha did something to make it not beep. I know some 2005+ don't need anything.

I understand that the r&D Dplate is slightly smaller than the Riva. The plate that was in it shown in pics above has a slightly smaller opening. Is it an R&D? Or could it even be an OEM Yamaha DPlate?

if it is smaller it will be R&d (the OEM and Riva are the same size)

I'd suggest you use the one with the larger opening, sell the one with the smaller opening to someone that has a 1200
