    I've been working with the Block-off angle VS. Sponson angle w/ good results. Feedback?

    I,ve seen those on some PPG boats . I heard they work well in CC, and chop.

    They look great and would work very well im sure. The only caution i throw out is the little plastic spider that holds the brass inserts that the mounting bolts screw into may break under the amount of stress you are capable of putting them under in a high speed turn.

    I would ditch the spider and use nuts and large washers on the back side of the hull. It will be a pain in the ass, but much safer. Let us know how it works out.

    With skegs and these modified block offs I can turn as hard as I want with no fear of sliding at any speed.
    Thur chop it tracks like a car and no loss of speed at WOT.

    I installed both Block-offs and Skegs at same time,. So I can only give input on both. I like the improved tracking seeing that 1/2 the time i'm doin 70 -80 MPH up creeks 10 feet wide, My ski feels much diff. compared to a stock ski now.. Man it's night and day, not only the power but WOW the staight line stabilty is impressive and in rough choppy conditions I can turn Bouys with no fear.
