    BOV ?

SO... speed tested to day and still not where I should be.... started looking around in the ski and observed that when the throttle is applied there is air being pushed out my BOV... I would take the thing off but dont have anything to plug the hole on Gen 1 cooler pipes... n e way looking for a fix if this is not suppose to happen which i assume its not. Any ideas?

Riva sold three different BOVs for the 4-tec, which one are you running?

do you have the means to fab up a new pipe or to make a blockoff plate for the BOV?

I have been looking into it. I may try to fab up something that bolts around the inlet hole to seal it off.

That one is a POS its what they call the performance series (junk), they came out with the pro series BOV (wasn't much better but I never had a leak), they now sell the Riva (HKS) version that is a quality BOV. If you want to block of the hole just make a plate with gasket or call Riva, they make a block off plate that your looking for.

See if anybody has an old OPAS block off plate..they fit perfect on top of the Gen 1 pipes...IF not go to Home Depot,Lowes or any hardware store and get youself a peice of flat stock aluminum, then take your BOV and trace the flange, cut it out and mount it to the pipes,Cheap and inexpensive cover...Dont forget to seal it with silicone or you will be defeating your purpose..As far as the hole in the intake??If you used a nipple on the runner like most then get yourself a vacumn cap and put it over it..I would also use a small amount of silicone on it to to help seal it..
