    2000 Genesis i - Battery Removal

Newbie Question - I believe I have a bad battery in a 2000 Genesis FICHT. In looking at the ski, it appears the only way to get the battery out is to remove the EMM.

I don't have any manuals on the ski, bought it used, so I am not sure.

Does anyone know if the EMM must be disconnected and removed to get the battery out of this jetski?

    Thanks.

    Welcome

I don't know about the 2000 Genesis i in particular, but for other models the battery/EMM bracket can be loosened (bracket bolts to hull are item 4 in diagram) and lifted out of the way to get at the battery. Disconnect the battery negative cable before you do anything else.
