    rxt-x 260 engine blowed

one of my friends blowed his 2010 rxt-x engine. 17 hours only no modification only air filter 4" and solas prop. pros any idea what can cause the damage he told me oil is new 2 hours of operation only and level was good.

is it from vibration caused by the pump not fixed right after installing the prop ?

They dont carry any warranty in my region + it is bought from the states. crankshaft is broken i dont know how i haven seen it yet , the boat owner told me i was full throttle i heard sound i reduced the speed and then its stopped. Before that the first test after installing the prop pump seal was gone and water entered the hull but not that much so the owner took it to the dealer and the fixed the pump. engine oil has been changed no evidence for water inside the engine. i will try to provide you guys with some pictures soon.

Damn dude, havn't heard of one breaking the crank. Could have been a bad crank from the factory but highly unlikely. My bet is that it injested water from the pump seal or might have been towed without the pincher on the hose, hydrolocked the cylinder maybe. Maybe sucked something up in the pump at one time causing the pump to lock up suddenly.
