Question polaris msx 150 please help!!!!

hi,i have just purchased a msx 150,31 hours,
whilst i was checking oil and water levels,i have discovered a film of
oil in the water header tank,,no more than a egg cup full,
i have removed the oil in the water tank,
the coolant is pink and clean,
the previous owners was an elderly couple who have had the ski
    in storage for 2 years,
brand new battery fitted, starts and runs fine on trailer,
not had time to check the ski in water yet,
so i am going to put fresh oil + filter in,
but concerned about this oil what was in tank,
this is my 1st four stroke ski,had 2 strokes in the past,
    can anyone please help!!!

    Welcome to the Hulk

Keep an eye on the oil for signs of contamination. Read up on the correct oil levels and changing the oil. The Weber engine is somewhat unusual and different from other 4-stroke engines.

Also learn about how the oil tank sometimes has sealing problems.

Click my signature links and look for the Weber and MSX 150 info

In part it depends on how much old oil you take out.

Note where the old oil level is on the dipstick. Make sure you follow the correct instructions to measure oil level.

Now extract the old oil according to instructions.

Measure how much you remove. Calculate how much new oil you need to put in to just touch the dipstick.

Put in the new oil, and follow the instructions for running the engine, then checking the oil level.

Add or remove oil to get the level exactly where you need it to be.
