    GP1200 gauge

Will the gauges from a '99 gp1200 fit and work in a '00 gp1200? I need a new one because the speedo drive broke and shorted out and now the guages won't work at all.

The GP1200 (no R) were made from '97 to '99 and the gauges for those 3 years interchange as far as I know.

You are screwing this up more...because they didn't make a GPR1200 in '99. The PV ski that year is called the XL 1200

They didnt make one?................They actually made two styles, a single piped version that ran 155 hp and a triple piped version that ran 185hp. And Yes these were the FIRST gp1200r. In 2000 Yamaha actually came out with a rpoduction gpr.
