    X Charger

I got my new X charger today. How do I tell the difference? I guess I expected it to look all badass or something or a different color I dont know, but it looks just like my 215 charger.

If its the newest one it will have a polished intake on the front cover. The 215 doesnt.

It won't perform like your 215 charger though!

It is not supposed to 'look' any different. The blade and the internal side of the housings are the difference. What were you expecting, an emblem saying x-charger? If you take the front housing off you can see the difference in the blade versus the stock. Also the part numbers are different.

The I.d. of the X charger housing is larger to accommodate for a larger sc wheel, pretty much it. The X wheel is 10mm taller that the 215 sc wheel. They look similar externally, they are the same initial castings.

Look in the intake of the 2. You will see how the X SCer blades are thinner. Kinda like the Impeller went on a diet...
That is the only difference besides the X may have the inside bearing oiler hole and yours doesn't.

    LOL +1 on that shit!
Especially mated with an external IC and 42s!

With my X charger, Im trying to hit 80 like yesterday!....the summer weather is catching me FAST and im in the middle of finding more speed out of the hull but the weather is putting me a step back now

Yea....put that x charger on with the other necessary goodies!!!! Yea, its pretty boring looking, haha. Sand and paint it red or something before you bolt it on
