What to do with old supercharger
So I know alot of speed freaks like us have more than one toy. I have a 2000 Hayabusa motorcycle and a 2007 Yamaha Apex Snowmobile. I also have a 1980 Chevy Z28 and a 1993 Chevy Z28. Has anyone on this site heard of or anyone used a SeaDoo 215 supercharger for anything else. I thought it would be great to bump my Busa over the 200 MPH mark with a bit more HP. Guiness says 196 MPH stock, but it takes alot of HP at that speed to go any faster. Dyno says 160 HP at the rear wheel, so if I could get 30 or so a 20% gain I bet it would be close to 200 MPH.

how would you turn it?

I think most are turned with something on the crankshaft on the right end of the crank. On pictures I have seen it is bolted on that end and belt driven up to the charger.

you would have to make a jackshaft and oiling system, not worth it. that system in the picture looks like a vortech self contained unit. On a busa your better off going turbo or spray. shit a bolt on busa may get you close. I believe I was clocked at 192 on a full bolt on busa. If you would've changed the gearing back to stock on that busa it may of saw 200mph.

I didnt think NoS at 170 MPH would be a good thing LOL I just have the old charger laying around and not sure what to do with it. How do they get oil from the 4 Tec ?

If you had a 1200 skidoo 4 tec. It would be cool to put the 1500 seadoo 4 tec in it with the 255 hp. That ski would haul ass. I wander if someone has done that. I known they have turbo the 1200 and getting 220 hp. That would be cool to see one. sorry just talking out loud.
