    New bee needs advice

Hi, I'm a new bee and really enjoy reading the advice from all the experts on this forum, so bare with me.
I purchased a 08 RXP stock, speedo reads 70 mph @ 8000 rpm. I would like a better hole shot and more acceleration. I have a R&D grate (not installed yet) and plan on getting 4" front air, and a 14X19 impeller. Am I on the right track? would a 13X19 be better for pick up. I'm open for suggestions,

Go read: "New members wanting to modify your skis. *Please Read*" located at the top of this area. Lots of good info there.

If you are looking just for holeshot and are not that much into top speed, then the Skat props are the way to go.

NO! Go with the 4 blade. It will be too much prop for your boat. Not enough to turn it....

What all are you planning on doing? If you are doing a 4" intake, intake grate, wedge and extension go with the 14/19 or just buy the stage 1 kit here ---> http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...products_id=18

In my opinion the best beggining setup would be a decently used x charger, 42 lb injectors, 15/20 prop, and kanaflex intake. It's a little more money but it's worth waiting and saving up a little more to buy it.

With this setup the acceleration will improve substantially and you will also pick up some speed up top.
