    need some help with my 06 rxt

    I need some help my enigine its makin a weird noise it sounds like a bend valve or somethin with the head so took the head of and took it to the machine shop he said head its good so my next step is take the block apart and check if I see anythin down there . So what else can I be checkin on

    Main bearing's or rod bearing's.

    Ill be checkin on that how do I know which one is bad and what can causes this to get damage

    Possibilities are endless. But I would say water ingestion would be my first thought.

    You may have ingested water through the intake into the cylinders, that may not have blown by the rings. Or a blown head gasket could put enough water into the cylinders to do bearing damage. It does not take much water to do damage. Dont ask how I know this. lol

    lol ok won't ask so what should I do replace the bearings or just get another block I have an 05 long block will that work

    Pull the motor. Open up the bottom end, if it is fubar toss the 05 motor in.

    Any mods done to you ski?

    riva stage 1.. will the 05 fit with any problems or am i going to need 05 harness
