    Help ! Removing manifold ribbon

    Any tips on removing the stock ribbon? its real tight with the rubber gasket.

    Nice thread but it didnt say how to get it out . Needle nose on the rubber? Pry with flat head? It seamed like it was getting distorted when i tried pulling on it

    I used a drywall screw on mine then pulled the screw out with a pair of plier, Julio...

    open dictionary and look up all words of profanity. Use words in random order. Repeat as necessary.

    Mine just came out with little effort. Pull on the rubber sleeve evenly and you should be fine. Good luck.

    Thanks everyone the drywall srew and a flat bar pulled it . I felt like if i pulled any more on the rubber it was gonna rip. (thats what she said) LoL

    Im done for tonight just dropped a manifold bolt under the motor. FML

    I also dropped a bolt under the motor and got it out by first tilting the ski all the way back on the trailer and then I used a piece of wire and reached down and push the bolt around the rear center motor mount. I felt very relieved when I got it out, Julio...

    tip to stop you loosing bolt under the motor.
    get some rags and tuck them down all the way round the area you are working. if you drop any bolts you will be able to reach down, and just pick them out.
