Nice Job.....Very sorry to see that nice red color all gone when you start riding. If you want to hit 80mph let me know and how much money you want to spend.

I try to stay off the bottom and the paint is powder coated. I read where everyone was having problems with the stock riva coating so had it blasted to bare metal and powder coated.

Lets do it Ron! I live right down the road. LOL Couple grand should get you there. ECU, injectors, minirude or riva xx upgrade, valvetrain upgrade, 15/20 solas & other misc stuff. I've got the tools for the SC, valvetrain tools, candoo, pitch gauges, and a boat ramp right around the corner for testing. I've got fresh 2rude and a fuel controller sitting here collecting dust. Would be nice to have another local rider in the 80+ club.

Sorry that I couldn't stop by to visit the other day. Wife had other plans for me that day.

I'm liking the project already. I can see that your just as anal as i am as far as attention to detail, great job. like my brother Doel said nice plate but i hate to be the bearer of bad news... the air bubble detonation as it creates friction on the Riva plate is gonna take some of that coating off. its just the nature of the beast bro. As far as getting to 80 you got your work cutout my friend and get ready to open the wallet wide 'cause these toys will suck the life outta you when the speed bug bites. Lol...... IMHO i would consentrate on building a fast but reliable ski that wont break down every couple of rides. But if money is not an object then Doel is the man to speak to as he already does 80. He can guide you on the right path. It also looks as thou you are quite the gearhead from what i read on your profile but if you ever need a hand getting her modded just let us know as long as you have some beer we'll work all day. Lol.... Hope you can make it to the Saint Mary's ride next weekend that way we can meet and we can share some ideas on your ride to get you where you want to go. Good luck !!! David knows his shit too and his ski is doing the magic number that might be your best bet as far as help.

You know, now that I think about it. It'll take more than a couple of grand, but based on what I read in your profile you've got "going fast" in your blood. I'm happy to help and I'm certain Doel is as well. Like KC mentioned Doel has been going over 80 on his T for a while now.
