    94 sl750 battery question

So i went to start up the ski for the first time this season but the ski was dead lol. So no im looking to buy a new battery for it. The one that came with the jetski when i bought it was a agm and im pretty sure thats the best type of battery for a pwc right? My question is what battery should I get? What are you guys using. I went online but got overwhelmed with choices lol. The funny thing is my battery was actually on a maintainer over the winter but i guess that maintainer is hsot lol. I also thought i read somewhere that you could only use certain maintainers for a agm batterys, is this true? Thanks everyone!!

You can find some battery info in my signature links.

AGM is indeed the preferred battery type, particularly the factory sealed version.

Deka ETX16LM and Odyssey PC625 are well regarded.

I actually have the deka battery now so I will probably replace it with the same one knowing now that its a really good battery.

I can't seem at all to find it online though. I can find the ETX16L but not the ETX16LM. Whats the M at the end mean and could i get the other one without the M?

    Thanks!!

As far as I can tell, both codes mean the same thing. I don't know how Deka codes their battery part numbers, but often I see the ETX16L and ETX16LM codes used interchangeably.

There may be a difference, but I do not know what that might be. See attached Deka PDF file.

Note That other manufacturers and brands may use the same part number, even though their battery may not be made by Deka.

Some are made by East-Penn (owners of the Deka brand) such as the SeaVolt battery from West Marine.
