    Need help Tuning New Mods

Went for first test run yesterday and I am way lean. I installed xcharger, Riva RRFPR, and lci to monitor AFR. All mods listed in signature.

I just warmed it up and made one short run, (I had to take mom for a pontoon ride)

    Fuel 58# with key in
    Fuel 54# at idle, Boost /vac -10, 12.5 AFR
    Fuel 58#, 5000 Rpm, Boost 0, 14.0 AFR
    Fuel ?, WOT 8100, Boost 10, AFR 21.4

I ran with seat off and last time I could look fuel pressure was 64#
I was running 5000 RPM and pinned the throttle and AFR climbed quickly to 21.4 and guage started flashing 7.4

I know I need to add fuel, should I adjust base pressure when engine is running to 58-60lbs and try again?

RRFPR is seeing boost but it was hard to get a good pressure with seat off at WOT and it was a little choppy. Should there be that much difference in AFR from 5000 to 8100 RPM?
What AFR should I be looking for at idle? Mid 11's? AFR at 5000? 12?

This is my first time using AFR guage and RRFPR, just need a little advice on what to set pressure at and what AFR's to shoot for before I try again.

    thanks

Try to recalibrate your sensor. I dont think you you where at 21.4. And blinking 7.4 from what I remember is telling you the sensor or the unit is fubar.

Stock injectors or? Did you calibrate your gauge? If so turn up the pressure a few lbs and see if your readings change.

Just checked, if it is blinking 7.4 while it is running you somehow calibrated it in the exhuast flow. Try recalibrating your sensor.

The engine wouldn't even run at 21.4 AF.

I did calibrate the o2 sensor per the LC1's instructions (may need to do it again)

The guage does blink 7.4 until it is warmed up, then it gives a reading.

I was questioning the 21.4 reading myself.

I was running at 5000 RPM and the guage was reading 14.0 then when I pulled the throttle to WO the guage climbes to 21.4 in a few seconds and then it flashes 7.4 constantly until i slowed to 5000 or less.

Free air should be 20.9 % O2 so i guess I need to try recalibrating the O2 sensor and see what happens.

Do I need to calibrate the sensor each day that I ride to correct for current weather conditions?

NO you wont have to recalibrate it every day. If I did mine, it was only once during the install.

Here are A/F numbers that have been recommended. Duke runs slightly leaner by what I found on the forum awhile back: I run the first set of numbers. But you wont get it that close with just a rrfpr. I could never fix my lean mid range with just a rrfpr. The rude controller is almost necessary IMO. Gets it right on the money.

Target AF ratios are: 13.5 at idle-2500
12.5-13 anythig below 5000 and mid throttle cruise.
    11.7-11.9 WOT

    DUKE:
    HIGH 11s WOT
    13s AT CRUISE
    14s FOR IDLE

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. He would be towing the ski if the AFR was that lean...
