    $8000 budget

This winter i plan on modding my ski. Want to go 80+,want should i get? I pretty much know what im going to need just not to sure of the impeller and what flash. i know i want the new sc housing so i dont have any clutch issues, theres $3100 right there. i dont want to go higher than 8400rpms on stock motor, that upgrade will be in the winter of 2012. point me in the right direction please.

    Hey buddy,

First of all I would recommend you to ditch the supercharger and forget about clutch problems!! Get our turbo kit from the online store here:

(you will make some money back when you sell your supercharger)

Second of all i would recommend an R3 reflash. Even though you don't want to spin those rpms, they will be available in the future. Get an rrfpr and innovate O2 sensor to be able to set your fuel at wot. Not sure what prop you have but you are also going to need to get a pretty big prop to keep the rpms down at 8400.

That right there is easily an 85+ setup with great potential for future upgrades and no more supercharger failures!

is it possible to run a turbo kit with only a R3 reflash?
If we don t want to run over 8400rpm we don t need an aftermarket ECU ?

Yes, this same setup was with an R3 reflash on a completely stock motor.

He was spinning 8400 rpms and 18 lbs of boost.

Save half of the $8000 for when/if something happens.

What are you planning to be doing with your ski. CC racing, off shore, top speed etc. ?

You can go balls out, but it is nice to know if something happens you were not all in and can recover. It's good insurance and just a suggestion for us mere mortals.
