    Notes on Fizzle Intercooler installation

this is a brief how-to on installation preperation that will hopefully clear up some questions/issues that I have been seeing in regards to the new Fizzle Intercooler Kit.

outside of the ski, test fit the placement of the intercooler on the bracket plate and mock-up the rubber straps. strap in the IC and make sure you have adjustment to either move the intercooler forward and/or tilt the intercooler itself to the left. in other words -- it might help to rotate the intercooler counter-clockwise by a small amount.

next step... please tilt the bracket plate to the left (counter-clockwise) in the direction of the supercharger before bolting it together with the bracket arm piece. for those who have VTS, the left edge of the intercooler bracket will be tight with the plastic VTS housing or atleast be close to touching.

why does the old gen1 kit allow to use the riva free flow pipe to stock exit while the gen 2 does not?

it's because the intercooler sits closer to the engine and has shorter piping.

you should be able to use the stock exhaust hose with a 8" pipe to replace the resonator and be all set.
