Tips for Installing Piranha Thru Hull / Riva Exhaust? Bolt size for Piranha Exhaust?

I got a really good deal on a Piranha Thru Hull Exhaust for my 2008 RXP-X. $155 including the pipe, clamps and Exhaust tip (with flange) ...straight from Piranha Parts.

First thing, he didn't have any bolts left over to bolt through the exhaust tip to the flange. Anyone know the size of the bolts used for these Piranha exhaust tips? M10 or whatever x Length?

Second thing, I don't need to remove OPAS (since it's Piranha) any tips on hole placement?

And lastly, how in the world do I get my socket down to the exhaust tip to tighten on the clamp of the silicone tube to exhaust tip?

How do you tighten on the tip first? The tip has to go through the hole...it wont fit through the hole with the clamp on. The clamp goes on the silicone tube and tightens onto the tip...

I bought it from www.piranha-parts.com back in January from Jason @ Piranha Parts. I think he was clearing out old stock or something. But not sure you can get them anymore as the site seems to be down.

sales at piranha-parts.com supposedly still works. You can try and contact him/them there.

you might not like it but I drilled a 2 1/4 hole inside the pump area to get the best access to the tip connection. I used some SS strips I have laying around to make a plate for it too.

You can take the opas off temporarily to get your socket to tighten down the clamp. No extra holes drilled..

Well I dont have the OPAS.I put the tip in and bolted that to together and from inside the hull put the coupler on the tip and tightened it down put a loose clamp on it and put the pipe on and did like a stand on my head with my arm bent backwards and reached the second clamp.

Yes, on a RXP/X you can get by with reaching in. On a T/TX you'll never reach it from the top, Yes going through the opas is an option without drilling, but if you have RE or riva Pro block offs that are all sealed up it can be a hassle too, but it is easy to get in from the pump area block off for the rear clamps on the "tip to pipe" connection.
The hole is just the lazy cheater way to get the coupler clamped to the tip & thought i'd just throw that out there.

Socket extention from any hardware store and a steady hand lol. I found my self upside down arms and head in the bowls of the beast. A whole lot of patience also. Prepare for busted knuckles and a few choice words
