    Will this be ok?

Well I had this dee zee plastic toolbox laying around and decided to try to it it on my trailer. I had to move the winch mount back about 4-6" and the tounge wheel up about 6". Do you guys think this will be ok? Or should I just put it back to normal?

As long as you have some weight on the tongue it should be fine. You should try to have at least 5% of the total weight on the tongue.

It's definatly got some tounge weight, doesn't feel to back heavy at all

It looks like your winch handle won't clear the ski. That's not ok.

    Snow, good catch!

SB, that winch is a BIG problem. The bow stop must be ABOVE where the strap attaches to the ski. Below the rub-rail, but above the hook. It almost looks like the thing is on upside down on the pole. If you have an emergency stop, that ski will go up and over!

its got to be on upside down then because the bow stop is below that eye. guess for some reason the previous owner switched it.

    Thanks guys!
