    Rec-90 Fuel

Did a search on this on here and didn't find anything so figured I would ask. There are some gas stations selling Ethanol free fuel and it's called REC-90 (90 octane)it's labeled for boats/cars, has anyone else used this stuff? It's actually cheaper than 87 octane with 1-10% Ethanol as that was 3.99 a gallon and the REC-90 fuel was $3.91 a gallon.

Apparently this is available at marinas and select gas stations.

I am wondering if I should be running this in my 2008 SHO instead of the fuel containing Ethanol.

I wouldnt say you "should" be running it, but it wont hurt. If its cheaper then yea, i would run it.

I really wish it was that cheap at the marinas in my area! $4.63 a gal. at the fuel dock here

    That's what I was thinking...

I put 12.75 gallons in my Expedition and am going to see how it effects my fuel economy.

NON-ethanol gas will result in better fuel economy.

I know, just wondering if the gains are worth the hassle of getting gas at a specific location. I am primarily more concerned about the ski after reading about ethanol based fuels sometimes being harsh on components.
