Better cooling for IC and exhaust, more water flow? RXP

Hey everyone, i was wondering is changing the yellow washer in the pump to a 1/2 inch ID and blocking off the rinse hole (temporary for eveytime i ride) is a good idea to keep things cool? Or maybe one of the two ideas?

PS: I have a Fizzle style intercooler on a stage 3 Rxp

You can go to a slightly bigger washer, its not gonna hurt anything..The X boats use a bigger washer, it is green. As far as pinching off the flush line???That line releases hot water off the top of the J-Pipe so I wouldnt pinch that off....

A half inch MAY be a tad to much..i would go a tad bit smaller..I used a half inch washer when i ran the open loop setup...

I tried bigger washers with no effect when testing the riva open loop system. Not sure how this may or may not apply for you though.

I think it`s part No 11 in the propulsion section. It`s called a reducer and the OE part No is 271001586.
