Good Morning Gents Just A Quick Question What should I Do??

I currently have an fzr with these mods: rear exhaust,ppk,fboost14,et.lowboost,stockprop,r3ecu,r &dintake, stockridingplate plus little things. My question is I race cc and pleasure ride often right now my rpms are 8700 at 81.3 miles I dont think 8700 with a stock engine is safe so I would like to bring my rpms down to 8400 my options are repitch or smaller nozzle, if I repitch will I loose aceleration and top end? which direction should I go??? Thanks again everyone for all of your help in the past.

thanks Philup.. I would really like to go to 160"liner but I am concerned loosing to much top end and not having enough power to pull a 160. Thats why I was trying the stock prop just to buy me time while i decide about the 160 liner and prop. Do you have any imput on the 160 liner? thanks

With a 155 mm pump a scat pitched to 13/24 or 14/24 and a oem reduction nozzle should get your rpm back down to 8400-8500., If you choose to go with a 160 mm prop a 14/20 and have your reduction nozzle bored to 85 mm will do the trick for you w/o very little speed lost. The 85 mm reduction nozzle will help get your accleration back with the 160 prop also. Tommy Jordan

Doesnt he need to bore his steering nozzle too to keep at least 5mm difference with venturi diameter for best overall performance?
Wouldnt there be more risk of overstuff if you keep only 3mm difference between a custom 85mm venturi and stock steering 88mm?
