Stock gtx reads SENSOR on key insertion

It flashes 3 times and goes away. Ski seems to operate normally. What does this even mean? There's no error code along with it.

My 05 GTX (Wake) does the same... But the depth gauge doesn't work. Is that because there isn't a gauge, or is it malfunctioning?

There is a 2a fuse in the #2 slot, which according to the shop manual is the circuit for the depth finder.

This machine is new to me! So I'm not sure if I should be fixing something or not.

    Thanks.

    was the battery unhooked recently?

Check to make sure that the VTS/ DEPTH FINDER/ COMPASS (if so equipped) are connected.

If the are, it needs to be brought to the dealer and connected to BUDS. They will be able to clear the sensor code. It won't affect performance for the time being.
