Stator and impeller
Would a stator and basically all drive components from a 2000 Virage (700) work on a 2002 SLX...Its the same ski right? Only newer?? Both are 95hp 700cc 2Cly set ups....
My Virage just got totaled and I found a 2002 SLx...or something like that that I was thinking of buying that needs an impeller and stator. I wanted to just undo my whole rear section and transplant it into this ski..
What do you think??

The slx model after 99 was a 1200 and only continued till 01 if your prospect is an 02 it is probably a virage

It could be...She didn't seem confident in what it was other than it was 95hp...lol Same as mine.. I said 700cc and she agreed with me..lol Its funny too because the add said 2000, and she said it was a 2002... I will be getting pictures tomorrow so I guess I will know for sure then. SHe only wants 600 bones for it, so I think it would be worth getting for the swap.. Considering my options...lol

It appears that the ski is a 2000 SLH... two seater... I was doing some comparing on aspecs sheet, and its not looking soo good... The SLH looks pretty basic to me..didnt look like there were any gauges, reverse...anything like that from her pictures....Now im in a bind..lol This is what I have found... I dont think the pumps will bolt up by these specs...what do you all think?

All of the Polaris Jet pumps from 1994 to I believe 2002 are interchangeable for the most part.

The pumps will be the same...even the impellers are shown to be the same.
The SLH will not have reverse but it will have trim. It doesn't have the same MFI display that the virage had, it has the oval style MFD. They both have the same functions, just the MFI looks a little newer.
It is possible to add reverse to the SLH if you really wanted it...you could salvage most of the parts from the Virage and you'd just need a couple little things to make it work with the SLH's trim.
The biggest difference is the SLH is a two seater vs. the Virage being a 3 seater. The virage will handle choppy water better, but the SLH is a little more nimble and fun to play around with and jump.
All of the engine and nearly all of the drive and electrical parts should be the same between them.

Other then the carbs and 2 seater vs 3 seater, all else should be pretty much the same.
Post the pictures
