    Unhappy Need help with jet sizes for XLT1200

    First I should list my mods:

    2006 pump and venturi
    dynafly 14/20
    riva intake grate
    riva rideplate modded by Jim
    jetworx water mod
    riva heads (145psi)
    dominator intake manifold
    m-16 reeds
    stock carbs
    r&d ecu

    I just installed the r&d ecu,dominator manifold and the m-16 reeds. i have 110 pilot 125 main and it tries to take off but dies from running out of gas. I really need help on this issue because if not i am going to scrap the dominator and m-16 reeds. please help?

    Did you disable the accellerator pump? Are the choke plates still in the carbs? What needle and seats do you have? A 1.5 with 95 gram springs are what should be in there.

    Cool

    so what your saying is ski dieing at high rpms,or getting low speed bog (there has been problems in past with selector valve for fuel in past may=high speed or to much fuel low speed bog)if low also check cable on power valves
    if to loose will cause bog also

    no my accelarator pump is connected, yes on the rest.

    my fuel selector is disconnected and i have a double fuel supply baffle. and my cable on the power valves are correct. i was already at 67.5mph with riva stuffers on stock reeds and without r&d ecu, my carb setup was exactly the same.

    i think i am going to call jim and ask for help and i gave it alot of thought and i think i am going to scrap the m-16 and go with the v-force.
