It was certainly worth it to me. Not only does it give your boat a personal touch but you will "stick" to the seat with the better materials, a plus when your dodging trees on the lake. LOL

Man mat removal sucks no matter how you do it, take your time. I usually peel as much as I can and then get some carb cleaner let it soak on the glue and start scraping. The gouges and scratches are a good thing as it allows the glue to stick so don't worry about those to much.
When you're installing the mats make sure they are the correct direction as you can flip two of them over, they are the ones on the up slope. Be sure to prep the paint with some sand paper so it sticks.
My switch assembly is different (good catch) as I have trim on my SLTX, it works great for planting the nose and allowing me to get a good hole shot. I can still trim up enough to get full use of the 6 degree wedge (even 8 if I want to), take a look at the vid when my Bro is running against the Matrix, the nose IS out of the water. LOL

Doesn't hurt to have some wax paper on hand for laying the mats down either. You can kinda work them along that way and not worry about having one try at getting them perfect... kinda straighten them out as you go.
