HOLESHOT…Pump configuration, 15lbs boost...???
I been upgrading lots of parts of my RXP, the last upgrade was a ET68-140 SC that gives an awesome power BUT I de been having some problems with Holeshot.
I touch the rev limiter 4 times before it arrives to a medium speed…
I already changed:
-15/22R Solas impeller
-Riva Stainless wear ring
-SKAT driveshaft bearing seal
-R&D RXP Extended Pro Steering Nozzle
I know the OEM nozzle comes in 83mm and 87mm for the RXP-X.
Right know I’m hitting 8300RPM at WOT, I also need some RPM to gain too…
I’m thinking in trying a 87mm nozzle, because I only have a RXP Pro-Series Reduction Nozzle with a 83mm, 82mm ring and a friend that could lend me hes RXP-X,s .
What you think????
Maybe a 85mm ring or pitching the impeller?
Many thanks in advanced.
PD: I put all the nozzle down for holeshot

Before yor go nutz pitching props and changing rings you may want to try one of our (Bellow Bands) your problem may be in your bellows not in your prop and nozzle combo. Our Bellow Band has helped many ski's to improve hole shot and helped to cut down on cavitation or totally eliminate it in some cases.... check out the link bellow.
Thanks, Erik SFR

Mine has just a 4" air, X SCer and Gutted thru hull exhaust with 42s on the stock internall ICer. I have the 14/18, right at 8100-150
The holeshot and mid range on mine is crazy, it really pulls hard and hooks up much better then it does with a 13/21 solas I have.

Try a plastic oem wearring, and see if the cavitation is still there, some people have some cavitation with the stainless wearrings.
If your impellers is more tight in your wearring, you won't have cavitation.
Then the next move is working on your impeller, to get the rpm's up around 8500 - 8600 rpm,s for the riva ecu.
I would suggest to give it 2 mm ,and see where you are.

U may wanna try the 83mm nozzle, it should help getting out of the hole. With modified skis, they bang the limiter harder, the larger the nozzle. Maybe could even try a different pump cone, or wet wolf's adjust a thrust..?
