Buy a stock prop with your 250.

    Then send it to IMPROS.

Seems they for some reason have been working on something for the 250 prop. If it is even close to the work they have done in the past it will be worth it.

In the past it seems that Solas usually beats Skat to market with aftermarket performance props. I'm sure they are also going full steam to make one for the Ultra. The Solas Dynafly 16/20 was the hot prop for the Ultra 150. Some of the tweaked OEM props ran good too. The Skat aftermarket Ultra 150 prop never ran as well as the other two. Will history repeat itself with the 250?? I's anyones guess at this point.

Shredmaster is about to start developing a ride plate for the 250. This is another area where more performance might be found.

Im gonna need it. Wanna get the stock and the IMPROS for comparison. Seems that everyone Ive talked to said they used the prop to do alot of the slowing down.

Too bad I don't know what the part number is for the OEM prop or I'd order one to be ready to experiment with. If I do find the number I'll be willing to order them for anyone here at my dealer cost.

Richard, I would be interested in what prop you finally decided on. I know you will be doing some testing as which way to go. Thanks Roger

Dave at Impros and joe are already working on props for the ultra. The question is what was the boats speed when the original testing was done with a aftermarket pump? probly will be a solas. Solas already has a line of props for the seado 155mm pump. the HP is higher on the ultra than the 185hp seadoo 155 from the gtx. The hub size is dif as well.

The Solas SD props are also a 4 blade design. The Ultra comes stock with a 3 blade. I doubt if the 4's would perform well with the Ultra pump design. Solas won't waste much time before they have an upgrade prop available for the stock Ultra.
