    RXT-X low RPM's

I took my 09 RXT-X (39 hours) out for the first run of the year today. I was maxing out at about 8000 RPMs. I don't know exactly what I was maxing out at least year but I feel it was higher than this. About 3 gallons of gas was left in it over the Winter (with stabil added) that was mixed in with the other 13 gallons I put into it today. I don't know much about these machines but based on what I've gleaned from this board since buying my ski I'm wondering if it's a wear ring issue? Problems with the old gas? Any advice/comments would be appreciated. Thanks

Also wanted to add that I only rode about 15 minutes today and didn't notice a change over that time period

There is nothing wrong with your ski. 8000rpms is about the norm and perfectly where you want to be. If you were turning more rpms last summer it could only have been 100 or so.. Which could be attributed to air temps, water temps, humidity, etc.

My bet would be 70 for sure. My dreamo starts reading 70 at like 7400rpm

Thats odd?? Maybe you do have a wear ring issue? Is there much cavitation out of the hole?

I didn't notice any. I wasn't really hammering on the throttle much yesterday though. I'll have to check it out next time I ride.

I would say so too, especially on a 3 seater. What was the air temp/where are you riding at
