    gp1300r Oil Warning / Blockoff

First time rebuilding a ski, put together everything with oil injection off. One thing, did not zip tie the floats up. Exhaust is in (for the third time) .. dont ask. Was wondering if there is a electronic bypass or something i can do without taking the exhaust off again to stop the low oil warning.

    Thanks, DT

Try to get at it from the front. You may be able to do it from that end.

You could fabricate a jumper wire at the connector so that this mod is reversible, follow the wire from the float to the connector.

I cut the connector off of the float and soldered the wires together. The oil gauge reads full and there is no alarm.

I also pulled the oil tank, shortened the fuel tank straps, and blocked off the filler hole.
