another question about riva thru-hull exhaust?

1st question i see they give you a gasket now i know it goes on the outside of the hull but does it stick to the hull or to the metal exhaust piece or doesnt it matter?
and do i put sealant on the outside with that gasket?

2nd question i have a rxt do you have to put sealant on the inside of the hull with the ring that has the threads on it to bolt to the outter metal Exhaust piece?

3rd question HOW DO YOU REACH BACK THERE TO GET THAT RING ON THE EXHAUST PIECE AND SEAL IT??
AND HOW DO YOU LINE THE HOLES UP TO BOLT TOGETHER???

    any help would be great....

thanks for the help when im talking about getting to the back i mean the inside of the rxt to get the metal trim ring inside to bolt to the exhaust piece if that makes sense.
its like i need a REALLY skinny kid to slide inside the ski to get that ring in there to start the bolts from the outside.
How does everyone do it and do you seal the inside also IF so HOW do you reach?????

When I did my RXP I put a little bit of sealant on the exhaust tip and put two small screwdrivers through the top bolt holes and put a little sealant on the ring on put on the exhaust tip and the screwdrivers and then started the bottom two bolts, took out the scewdrivers and did the top two, then put silicone coupler on and tightened it to the tip and put on the next clamp loose and then put the pipe in and tightened down the clamp, but like I said its a RXP and I could reach it,on a RXT you will probably have to go through the OPAS like bdolla said.
