    Tested today but confused ???

Ok so my 06 rxp project ski I'm building is now converted to a rxpx setup minus ext. Oem ic.

    So this is my setup
    All stock 06 rxp
    Added

Rotax racing stock class ecu 8500
X charger with ET 137 drop in wheel an 3mm spacer so like 13 lbs at 8100
    50 lb injectors
    Fizzle 4"air intake

    Riva sponons
    Riva open loop
    Riva ride plate
Rive opas block offs not pros
    Riva free flow exhaust
    r&d intake grate
Stock 215 ic is still installed
    Solas 15/20r not touched
    Complete stock pump setup

I tested today 8120 rpms an only 73mph

Heck I remember when I had a rxp running 74 with a prop , 4" air, an sponsons, an riva grate.

Question does this seem really slow to you all or what.

Heck 13 lbs of boost should put me at 75 at least!

    I'm thinking I'm to rich with 50s
Also I have no ex. In cooler.
An also holly crap that riva plate makes you porpos so bad it's like your on a trampoline jumping up an down trying to make it stop. Bouncing.

    Lookin for imput!

you should really monitor your fueling so that you know what's going on with the engine health/performance. pull the RPMs up to 8400 and you will likely have 3 more MPH.

The porpoising is probably more due to the non prop B.O.'s Also seems as you are under propped.

The idea is to spin the highest pitched prop you can to near your rev limit. Pitch your prop to get your rpms up. With a 8500 rev limit get it to around 8400+. It dont matter how much boost you are making if you only spin a 15/20 8120. Do you have a boost gauge and a afr gauge. Only way to know for sure if you are rich but my guess would be yes.

Dony have any experiance with the Riva plate.

Ive got an lc1 but so don't understand wiring. I ordered your ic today. fizzle

What about goin back to 42s with this setup I think that will be a better mixure.
I was told 48 with an rrfpr but with an ex IC . I don't have that yet.
I still should be pulling this prop.

I know 8400 will give me boost but question is at Some point you can add so much gas that the richness will rob HP. Could this be happening?

Yes I have a an log boost gauge but it shook so much it's hard to see. It bounces around 11 lbs.

What is the ECU mapped for as far as fueling?

You need to wire that lc1 up and see how your afrs are. My guess is that you are running rich. As was asked before, what injectors was the ECU mapped for? Does the ski feel a little sluggish?

Yea they are kinda hard the first time you wire one.

Most of these bigger chargers really start making boost when you spin them faster than stock.
