He must get a new prop. I just installed a solas 15/22r repitched to 12.5/21 with setback mod by speedfreeks racing. This must be the best bang for the buck. Huge improvement on holeshot, acceleration, top end and handling. Im not sure what pitch would be best for the as model but he should get Erik at speedfreeks to have a look into it.

4 kanaflex air filter / worx intake grate

For bigger increase (and cost of course) a remapped ecu would provide great results with a 4" air intake. Will need valve train upgrade if going over 8300/8350rpm. Stock limit around 8080-8100rpm
A drop in upgraded wheel for the supercharger is also an option.

Les Cook or Nico do the reflash. I sent my ECU to Nico before Les's reflash was listed. My ECU actually ended up at Bosch for the reflash. I did it at 7 hours on the ski and have 35 hrs now with 0 problems. I have the 4" rear air. I do not think R&D has a reflash option at this point.

Look at my signature for your answers! Very simple for your buddy:

    1. Remove stock air box contraption and install 4" kanaflex hose setup ( fizzle kit).
    2. Remove stock impeller - Purchase Solas 15/22r send to Erik at SpeedFreaksRacing re-pitch to 12.5/21 with setback mod.
    3. Make sure ALL hose clamps, bolts, nuts, fasteners are tight on the entire ski!

He will have a 74 mph ski!

If that is not enough, then get the ecu re-flashed to 8500, valve train upgrade, rrfpr, injectors, etc, etc and have an 80+ mph ski........
