185hp - 255hp rotax is it possible?
hey guys I have one of the 370 seadoo speedster 200 boats and I am wanting to put the external coolers x chargers and 42 lb injectors in the boat. I know I have to change the starter gear but will the 42 lb injectors work with the 185 computer? Thanks for the help!

Probably all stuff you already know but,
I was told the 185 has 38lb injectors the only difference is the fuel pressure to the injectors. But I am only doing 185 to 215.
I'm not sure on the boats but the 185 skis have cast pistons vs forged on 215 and up.
I have been told running 215 on the cast pistons is not the greatest idea, so running 255 would probably be a recipe for broken/melted pistons.
EDIT I have been told by 2 other members that running a x charger and 42lb injectors can be done on cast pistons with external intercooler.
Thats about 255 HP!

185 ecu also has lower rpm limiter. IMO buy a afr gage so you will know if your fat or lean then you can tune it with a rrfpr

I did x charger w/ 17 tooth gear, 42 lb. injectors, external intercooler, 160 thermostat, cold air intake, RXP ecu, rxp FPR and a 12/20 concord to my 04 GTX 185 and it runs very well with no issues so far 60+ hours on the cast pistons and no RRFPR.

i would think your running pretty lean up top but if its working thats great, any idea what your afrs look like ?
