    mfd quick trim question

i meant to ask this earlier and forgot

while repairing my oval style mfd i noticed two small potentiometers i was just wondering if these to small pots affected the speed at which the trim is read, the speed is read, the fuel level is read, or the oil level is read

the fuel and oil are probably set (im guessing) so that would leave speed and trim speed seems like these would be a good way for the oem to calibrate the mfd before sealing it, not that there is a link but there is also a L and an H below them that may indicate adjustment

just wondering if anyone has messed with those two pots to try i already had mine sealed back up before i thought of this but maybe someone with a larger parts bin than mine could report back on this as the different trim rates seem to be a pita

    just thinking as usual

I would just be speculating. No point in guessing.

With the exception of RPM and Trim all the feed signals are analog, so those potentiometers could be for any of them; battery voltage, speed, fuel or oil level...

On the Round MFD one pot is for calibrating the pressure transducer for speed. I'm not sure about the other pot. I have an open round MFD on the bench that I'll check the purpose of the 2nd pot this weekend and report back.
